How We Started
Back in 2018, I noticed something troubling in Taiwan's tech scene. Talented designers were graduating with strong visual skills but struggling to land their first jobs. The gap wasn't creativity — it was practical interface design knowledge.
Most programs focused heavily on theory while employers needed people who could build real user interfaces. That disconnect frustrated me enough to start WebDevCurrent in a small Banqiao office.
We started with just 12 students in our first cohort. Today, we've trained over 2,400 designers who are now working at companies across Taiwan and beyond.
Our approach remains unchanged: teach practical skills through real projects, connect students with actual industry needs, and provide ongoing support as careers develop.
